Abstract EN

In this research, I dealt with Al-Bukhari’s statement on some of the narrators “the authentic of his hadith is not distinguished from the defective one” in three main sections.

In the first section, I thoroughly examined Al-Bukhari’s statement through what was reported on him by scholars.

In the second section, I drew on the two methods of distinguishing the narrator’s authentic hadith from the defective one.

These two methods are: first, the narrator should have good books and references; and second, his mistakes should be in either case, and I mentioned many examples to clarify these methods.

As for the last section, I mentioned the six narrators on whom Al-Bukhari pronounced the statement under study.

I did not limit my examination to Al-Bukhari’s statement, but rather quoted many of the sayings of the scholars of Jarh and Ta’deel on the mentioned narrators.

It became clear to me at the end of the research that Al-Bukhari, may God have mercy on him, meant those who made many mistakes or prevailed over the truth.

Then, I concluded by explaining the most important results I reached through this study.
