The new technological revolution in the new millennium, especially in its communicative dimension, has led to the emergence of several important variables that have enhanced the concept of the digital age and its uses, perhaps the most important is the new media of social networking as an interactive communication medium and more than a daily routine for users due to the features, services, and gratifications it provides, which made it an influence on many aspects of individuals' lives, especially the psychological-behavioral aspect, and as a result of intensive use of it, it made users exceed the normal browsing rate, which tends towards forced dependence and fall into the angle of isolation and psychological alienation, which affects mental health and psychological imbalance as a result of compulsive behavior and excessive use, this may have a negative impact on the individual in light of the pathological dimensions accompanying it through excessive use as a type of behavioral addiction and the psychological alienation and replacing real life with a parallel world.
