Abstract EN

This study aims to test the relationship between population growth and economic growth in Algeria during the period (1990-2019), based on estimating the relationship according to a simple linear regression model.

the study reached several results, the most important of which is the existence of an inverse relationship between population growth and growth economy in Algeria during the study period, meaning that the continuous rise in the population negatively affects the economic growth rates achieved in Algeria during the previous period.
