This paper is intended as a contribution in terms of comparative analysis of the attractiveness of the Algerian economy through a methodology based essentially on a collection of data and information in order to develop a comparison of the evolution of the indicators measuring the quality of its institutions and the business climate as presented (estimated) by international organizations such as those developed by the university of Toronto in Canada (international country risk guide "ICRG") and the Daniel Kaufmann (world bank) database.
the analysis developed in this article also compared the data of Algeria with those of neighboring countries (Tunisia, Morocco and Egypt) as well as with OECD countries and the MENA region ; at the end of which the results showed that Algeria is the least attractive country for investment in its region due in particular to the still low levels of its business climate.

Ce papier se veut une contribution en termes d’analyse comparative de l’attractivité de l’économie algérienne à travers une méthodologie se basant essentiellement sur une collecte de données et informations afin d’élaborer une comparaison de l’évolution des indicateurs mesurant la qualité de ses institutions et du climat des affaires tels qu’ils sont présentés (estimés) par les organismes internationaux à l’exemple de ceux développés par l’Université de Toronto au Canada (International Country Risk Guide «ICRG ») et la base de données de Daniel Kaufmann (la banque mondiale).
l’analyse développée dans cet article a aussi confronté les données de l’Algérie avec celles des pays voisins (Tunisie, Maroc et l’Egypte) ainsi qu’avec des pays de l’OCDE et la région MENA ; à l’issue de laquelle les résultats ont démontré que l’Algérie est le pays le moins attractif des investissements dans sa région en raison notamment des niveaux qui restent encore faibles de son climat des affaires.
