Abstract EN

Being deeply interested in both mathematics and logic has led the Austrian philosopher "Laudwig Wittgenstein" to establish the teachings of a new scientific theory whose main fields of study are language and meaning.

in fact, this theory started from the point of rejecting natural language and accused it of confusing scholars involved in issues of philosophy and thought.

eventually, he came to the conclusion, after such a long and arduous journey of research analysing this language, that it has its own logic when it comes to rendering meaning.

it was indeed a real journey that started from one extrem and finished at the other.

therefore, this study will endeavor to shed light on this journey through answering the following questions: what are the theoretical and methodological foundations that prompted Wittgenstein to reject the natural language ? and if Wittgenstein was really obssessed with coming up with an alternative that could save philosophers' effort and time in order to introduce more precise and clearer answers about issues of thought and the world, why did he, and those who pioneered analytic philosophy, give up on the dream of creating an alternative which could have replaced the natural language ? then, what led Wittgenstein to shift from being one of the strongest opponents of this language to become the first one to defend it ?.
