Abstract EN

This study seeks to investigate the functions of the linguistic paradox and its role in constructing the title in the contemporary Arabic poem, by monitoring the linguistic functions most dominating the title structure in the contemporary Arab poem.

therefore, in order to be comprehensive and covered, we have resorted to choosing applied models, each of which indicates-as will be seen-the dominance of one or more functions of the linguistic paradox and the resulting qualitative functions of the title in order to determine the impact of these functions in directing the production of the title connotation.
