This paper investigates usages of modern technologies in biomedicine, the stakes involved and potential risks.

It also presents the controversy surrounding the advantages of keeping up with technological developments in medicine, and, in contrast, the risks involved should they be misused.

Thus, it delineate the features of biotechnological revolution starting from the study of research in human genomics and genetics in terms of concepts, history, and purposes.

It goes on to assess the contribution of the scientific research and medical discoveries to creating new forms of life and facing the challenges of the futures.

Finally, the paper investigates the drawbacks of using modern therapy techniques, and demonstrates their social and ethical risks as well as their appropriate utilization to keep pace with the contemporary scientific revolution and future developments.
