This is an indicator that reflects the regularity of the water flows coming to the basin and the succession of their arrival from the sources to the estuaries of the rivers which means a decrease in the significance of flood risks.

Thus, reducing the impact on human activities, increasing the degree of steepness and straightening waterways, increasing the volume of water drainage, due to the speed of the water current, and the ence of opportunities for leakage and evaporation, in addition to the fact that the dam provides positive advantages.
