The focus of the research is concerned with an important scientific family that inhabited Aleppo, and had an important role in intellectual life during the sixth and seventh centuries of Hijri, which is the family of Bani Zuhra, whose lineage goes back to Isaac al-Mu'tamin ibn Jaafar al-Sadiq (peace be upon him).

The family of Bani Zuhra is one of the ancient families in Aleppo, because the sons of this family were famous for religious sciences in particular, some of them were modernists and jurists who enriched the intellectual aspect with their works sometimes and by teaching at other times.

In general, Bani Zuhra in Aleppo and its environs were of great fame, as one of its most important men, Abu Al-Makarim Hamza bin Ali, was a venerable gentleman of great stature, great in affair, a virtuous scholar, author, diligent, author of good books and famous sayings, as well as the rest of the family members Those who are not inferior to the aforementioned scholar and who were characterized by good and noble qualities.
