The research aimed to: 1.

investigate the level of awareness of current and future problems of Saudi society among youth: 2.

investigate the role demographic factor (University type) and variables associated with Humanistic and Social approach (Social Literacy, Cognitive Dissonance, Social Engagement, Perceptions of social changes, Education for Sustainable Development) to influence the awareness of problems of Saudi society.

About 482 questionnaires were distributed to random sample of students (males and females).

The results show that the Saudi youth have very low awareness or knowledge of the current and future problems of Saudi society.

There is a statistically significant difference at the level (0.01) between the averages of youth awareness of the problems of Saudi society in light of the difference in the university, and the levels of all the variables associated with Humanistic approach.
