Abstract EN

The study aimed to find out the impact of Job Demands and Resources dimensions on Core-Self Evaluations.

It adopted descriptive analytical method, where a survey questionnaire was developed and distributed to a sample of 359 employees in administrative and executive positions in nine Palestinian industrial companies.

The study found a set of results, the most important of which are: There are a negative significant effect for the two dimensions of Job Demands, qualitative overload, role conflict, and a positive significant effect for the dimensions Job Resources, supervisor support, co-worker support, technology support, job security, and training on the total dimensions of Core-Self Evaluations.

Whereas, there are no significant effect of the two dimensions of quantitative overload, role ambiguity on the total dimensions of Core-Self Evaluations.

Finally, the study recommended the need of taking general, clear, time scheduling and strategic actions to promote Palestinian industrial companies.

Addressing deficiencies in the levels of their Job Demands and Resources to ensure their effective balance to improve the quality of professional career life, and to develop and raise levels of Core- Self Evaluations in these companies.

In addition, a special long-term cognitive behavioral counseling program should developed to address the low levels of Core-Self Evaluations to redevelopment and build the personality of employees.
