استدعاء ابن تيمية لابن رشد في نقده لنفي صفة الجسمية عند فخر الدين الرازي

Abstract EN

This article deals with the reception of Ibn Rushd’s thought in the Islamic East, where he was celebrated and used by the Hanbali theologian, Taqi al–Din Ibn Taymiyyah, to respond to some of the Asha’arite-Kalamist ideas of Fakhr al-Din al-Razi, especially the latter’s denial of the physicality of the divine self.

this article is solely devoted to the study of two works of Ibn Taymiyyah where Ibn Rushd’s presence can be felt : "the Jahmiyya exposed", "guarding against conflict between reason and revelation".

the article brings to light the fact that Ibn Taymiyyah copied from two versions of Ibn Rushd’s Kitab al-Kashf ‘an Manahij al-Adilla and that he was deliberately choosing the version that suited at his purpose.

this work also explains the Reasons which lie behind Ibn Taymiyyah’s interest in the philosopher of Córdoba.
