Our venerable scholars realized the great importance of the Arabic language, as God Almighty chose it as the language of the Holy Qur'an, so they rose to protect it from melody and extinction and sought to establish the rules of this language according to the methods and principles they followed in laying the scientific foundations that preserve the Arabic system, especially the science of grammar, which was at the forefront In the light of that, two ancient schools emerged, namely the schools of Basra and Kufa in Iraq, the center of human civilization.

Each school at that time had its own curriculum, scholars, and its distinctive mark, as well as the differences in grammatical opinions between the scholars of the two schools, which attracted the attention of scholars, ancient and modern.

The research aims to shed light on these two schools, and the reasons for the emergence of the grammatical dispute between them, while presenting a model on the nature of the grammatical dispute between the two schools represented in the issue of the two teams' disagreement about ( raising the subject and the predicate ).
