The observer of the phenomenon of violence in general and domestic violence in particular in our societies notices that it is not a product of the hour, nor is it a new or emergency event, but on the contrary, it is a phenomenon that extends the depth of human history, but the percentage of its increase and its height, the monitoring of cases of occurrence, the variation of its images, the multiplicity of its methods and forms and what is left The negative and bad effects on the psyche of the child, but rather on the society as a whole, have become different and varied, all of which had a great impact in shedding light on the study of domestic violence, as it falls within the effort that is being made to know what is meant by violence as a behavior in general, and then to see the crimes of violence directed against Children in particular.

Such studies help to understand the aspects of change that occur in the Arab society, and to know the factors that have a significant impact on the growth of this phenomenon, and also that the results reached by the researcher through these studies work to develop a better understanding of the behavior of violence, and the most important causes, as Such studies contribute to analyzing this phenomenon and identifying its circumstances, and then knowing the effects resulting from it, and striving to find effective scientific methods, programs and means, and practical steps that work to limit and mitigate this phenomenon and its spread.
