The phenomenon of violence occupied a wide space in Arabic and western fiction alike, as it occupied other fields of knowledge such as philosophy, sociology, psychology, and many others, particularly at the turn of the last century and the early twenty-first century, because the phenomenon of violence has become a threat to human existence, and then it was the central theme in contemporary Arabic fiction.

I stand in the research of the causes of violence, including political, religious, and social ones, as well as a brief definition of contemporary fiction.

while the three research topics deal with the manifestations of violence in contemporary fiction: exile-vanishing (disappearance)-violation, followed by a conclusion that includes the research results, and finally a list of sources and references.
