Quranic readings are one of the topics that linguists dealt with in their works until it became one of the most important research topics at the level of language Scholars of interpretation have dealt with it from other aspects at the level of authenticity and support and at the level of doctrinal and ideo- logical impact and others Among those commentators who were interested in the Qur'anic readings was Imam al-Tabari in his interpretation of Jami al-Bayan fi Tawil al-Qur'an known as al-Tabari's Tafsir Al-Tabari dealt with the Qur'anic readings that are concerned with Islamic jurisprudence, and we see him prefer some of them over the other and this is what prompted me to write this research tagged with) Imam al-Tabari's preferences for the Qur'anic readings accompanying the Imamiyyah jurisprudence (a topic look- ing for the authenticity of the Qur'anic readings and their impact on the state- ment of the legal ruling.
