Abstract EN

It is a historico-political review of a very crucial and eventful period in Sulaymaniyah, Although it was a short period of time yet it was a historical time full of ecstatic, fateful events as well as many dreadful and tragic disasters.

This research consists of two parts.

First part- (Sulaymaniyah uprise March-7th-1991)In this part we pointed out the details of the events of this day and the days afterword.

Second part: This part is specified to focus on the events of fled day in Sulaymaniyah in April-3rd-1991 and the days afterword.

To present all the sorrows and tragedies of people in this city who suffered this disaster as they fled toward Iranian borders after the city has been retaken under the control of Iraqi government forces.

To complete this research, we used varieties of sources like (books, documents, magazines, newspapers and etc.

)As the period is only few decades ago, we used the interviews of those who participated and witnessed such historical period as another source for reference.
