The research deals with the study of one of the long and perilous journeys of the most famous Sumerian kings, Gilgamesh, to search for a man who was granted immortality by the gods.

The study tackled the reasons that prompted him to do it, the paths he took and the places he passed through until reaching his goal, as well as the troubles he experienced and the situations he saw.
