The aim of the current research is to know critical thinking and its relationship to teaching Arabic.

To highlight the importance of critical thinking, and to establish an Arab-Islamic view of it in educational concepts, and to return it to its roots.

The research problem is summarized in answering the main question of the research.

To achieve the goal of the research, the question was answered, which states: What is critical thinking and what is its relationship to the Arabic language and its teaching? The research is determined by the theoretical aspect related to the literature, theoretical aspects and previous studies on critical thinking, its terminology and its components, and its relationship to the Arabic language.

The descriptive approach was followed as being appropriate to the nature of the present research.

The nature of the research required that it be divided into: Introduction The research plan included four topics: The first topic: Theoretical aspects, and it has three requirements: The first requirement: the concept of critical thinking, its elements, components, obstacles, and the characteristics of a critical thinker.

The second requirement: education and training in critical thinking and its methods.

The third requirement: the impact of Islamic law on raising thinking.

The second topic: previous studies and comment on them.

The third topic: Arabic language and critical thinking, which has two requirements: The first requirement: The role of Arand Muslims in developing thinking.

The second requirement: the Arabic language and its relationship to critical thinking, its development, and how it occurs.

The fourth topic: conclusions, recommendations and proposals.

Among the most important conclusions: that there is a relationship between the method of teaching Arabic and developing critical thinking, and the researcher has recommended: 1- The necessity of paying attention to employing critical thinking in the school curricula in general, and the Arabic language and the Holy Qur'an materials in particular in the different academic stages.2- Training teachers, especially Arabic language teachers, on methods and methods of teaching thinking, foremost among which is critical thinking.3- Training learners on critical thinking because it is one of the higher levels of thinking, with training, applications and questions that require answering them at higher levels of thinking.

He suggested: Including Arabic language curricula with methods and methods of developing critical thinking to immunize learners from superficial and naive ideas.

As well as conducting a study on the difficulties encountered in applying critical thinking in other subjects.
