The current study is classified under morphological study of the noble Quran.

al-Rahman Sura includes words that have more than the tripled words, where some words have extra one, two or three letters, and what is the significance of this addition.

these changes motivate us to follow these words and show their lexical and contextual connotations.

the beginning was the dictionary, which has references for the stems and their meanings.

the researcher came across other lexicons from old to modern ones, then the researcher shows the meaning of (the utterances) whether they used in the Quranic context to analyze and interpret.

the researcher adopted the descriptive analysis approach.

the study includes an introduction and a preamble to define the concept of morphological form, their functions, and the importance of their study.

moreover, the study focused on the morphological forms and their meanings to differentiate between (structure and construction) depending on the most important sources in this field.

after that, the utterances were studied depending on the extra letters.

the conclusion sums up the study findings.
