Abstract EN

The research aims to highlight an emerging Islamic financial tool which has attracted increasing interest across the world for dealing with the eco frinedly investment projects and it is known as Islamic Green Sukuk.

The research has defined the concept and the potential for contributing to sustainable development has been explored, as well as the possibility of it’s launch in Morocco has been studied.

The research adopted the descriptive and inductive approaches to analyse the available range of data, including the data on legislation or on the market and resources.

The research concluded that the green instruments are important in achieving the sustainable development as well as ascertining the various dimensions of it.

Furher, It is possible to launch the green Sukuk in Morocco, similar to it precedent in Malaysia, in particular with regard to solar and wind energy.
