The al-Jawadin library is one of the oldest libraries in Baghdad.

it has a historical depth of more than seventy years.

it provides its services for free to all researchers and readers.

its treasury contains various types of information sources that help the beneficiaries to gain knowledge and education.

the al-Jawadin public library also contributes in raising the cultural level through seminars, cultural lectures and educational courses.

today, it is considered one of the heritage libraries because it possesses legacies of ancient manuscripts, rare books and important documents, and its intellectual role in providing scholars, and science students because of the unique books and resources it contains, the paper and electronic books, which researchers need in their writings, and the important and effective role of this large library in providing scientific and cultural support to all those coming to this library.

Heba al-Din al-Husseini, the establisher of this library, called for reforming religious and social life, and fight corruption in society.

its council featured senior preachers, tutors and guidance persons.

the existing library collection is considered one of the good and varied collections in its topics.

it uses the open shelves system as it makes it easy for researchers to access it, it is an up-to-date library, using the sequential indexing system.
