Abstract EN

This article sets out to analyze the trajectories of student activists in Tunisia during the last decade of Ben Ali in power.

Remained on the fringes of scientific research, this paper postulates that paying attention to them is able to provide us with a surplus of intelligibility on the revolutionary situations that Tunisia has experienced since 2010.

Thus, I propose through a survey qualitative field, to examine the conditions that made such an engagement possible and to understand the way in which the diversity of the trajectories prior to the student engagement shaped it.

In the light of this development, the text will be divided into three sections which take up the succession of the main phases of student engagement.

The first was devoted to the main social characteristics of the militants studied, while the second studied the conditions for activating the engagement.

Finally, the third analyzes the consequences of these first two elements on the form taken by the activism of the participants in the survey within student unionism and the political groups active in it.
