Abstract EN

The study approaches the COVID-19 pandemic from the School of Environmental Social Sciences perspective .It monitors the explanatory model that this approach proposes in understanding the causes of the return and renewal of epidemics through an analysis of the environmental roots of the current epidemiological crisis .This approach sees the environmental crisis as a major entry point to think about the current pandemic ,and it suggests the need to link the health and environmental crisis ,therefore assumes that the return of epidemics is a manifestation of the diseases globalization.

The study is concerned with monitoring two discourses belonging to the same approach which differ at the levels of viewpoints and scientific interest ;however ,they converge in the final result that attributes the causes of the pandemic and its effects to the aggression that the environment is exposed to and the deep imbalance that characterizes the earth.

The French philosopher Bruno Lator and anthropologist Frederic Keck recall the discourse of the environmental crisis trying to present the pandemic from a different perspective .They base their statements on the duality of attachment and detachment from the earth) Latour ,(the dialectic of listening and revenge) Keck ,(whereas the disturbance of the relationship between the earth and the animal has led to imbalances of the whole life system.

The study also presents the horizon on the question of elationship between man and animales ,and the fate between human ,Land and nature.

It also questions the model of modern progress under capitalism and the cultural concerns it threatens the future of human existence ,the fact that requires a rethinking of the contemporary consumption pattern and the existing development model and the ways of integrating ethics and values to stop this suicidal path.
