The scholars, ancient and modern, have taken care of the subject of the seven letters, and its connection with the readings and the The Qur'an of Othman Qur’anic verses, and from whom the eminent Sheikh Dr.

Muhammad Wald Sidi al-Habib, may God have mercy on him, took care of him and composed this pleasant letter, which he called (The Seven Letters and the Qur'an of Othman).

It is still written in his handwriting, may God have mercy on him.

Therefore, I wanted to achieve and publish it; To benefit from it, and we ask God to write the reward of the Sheikh and accept him and forgive him and raise his rank.

And I divided it into an introduction and two chapters, the first for the study, and it contains a translation of Sheikh Muhammad Ould Sidi Al-Habib, may God have mercy on him, and a description of the written version of the message, and samples of it, and the second of them is for the verified text, then the conclusion and index of sources and references.

In the research, I followed the descriptive and analytical method, and one of its results was the Sheikh’s concern, may God have mercy on him, with the sciences of the Qur’an and the readings in particular, and that he, may God have mercy on him, had preferred the meaning of the seven letters, the opinion of Abi al-Fadl al-Razi and supported it with examples, and that he rejected what Ibn Jarir al-Tabari said that Othman bin Affan left six The letters of the seven letters.
