Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the level of positive thinking among students in the mathematics department at the Faculty of Basic Education in light of the spread of the Corona epidemic، and relied on the analytical descriptive curriculum، and the sample of the study consisted of (160) students from the department of mathematics at the Faculty of Basic Education at the University of Mustansiriyah، and to achieve the objectives of the study a questionnaire consisting of (34) paragraphs was prepared، distributed to the members of the sample of the study، and the study reached several results، the most important of which were: The level of positive thinking among students in the department of mathematics in the Faculty of Basic Education in light of the spread of the Corona epidemic came at a high level، and the study also found that there are statistically significant differences in the responses of the sample of the study towards the level of positive thinking among students of the department of mathematics in the Faculty of Basic Education in light of the spread of corona epidemic due to the sex change and the differences came in favor of females، and the existence of statistically significant differences due to the variable stage and the differences came in favor of the fourth stage.

Based on the results of the study، the researcher recommended to strengthen the practice of positive thinking skills and enrich the courses at the university with those skills، and to strengthen them among students in the department of mathematics who have skills of positive thinking، the need to focus on the positive thinking positives and the insight of students in the department of mathematics important in daily life، and the need for Iraqi universities to pay attention to the development of positive thinking among students.
