The Western linguistic lesson witnessed great development and the dawn of new directions in discourse analysis.

These new directions allow to reveal all the argumentative techniques and methods utilized by the addressee to persuade the recipient, as well as many prompt researchers in the linguistic field to re-read the Arab heritage, a new reading that depends on mechanisms And the argumentative procedural tools in showing the secret of that rich linguistic treasure, so this study aims to reveal the argumentative strategy adopted by Muhammad bin Ali bin Muhammad Al-Jarjani (729 AH) in his book (Signs and Alerts in the Science of Rhetoric) to persuade the recipient of the correctness of the illusion that he was alerted.

It includes those who preceded him, as his book included many warnings on some of the illusions of those who wrote in this art before him; he follows the illusions and mistakes that they fell into it, and he has the style of responding to those illusions, using his ability to organize arguments, to prove the correctness of his opinion, by which he seeks to convince the recipient of the correctness of his view, he moves between logical, rhetorical, and linguistic arguments, and others that depend on taste and beauty, as well as non-linguistic arguments related to the parties to the discourse and the circumstances surrounding it.
