Fruit trees are an important pillar of the national income.

Therefore, their study has been of great importance to researchers in the field of geography in general and agricultural geography in particular.

As it became clear through the study that both Kufa and Al-Manathira occupied the center stage in certain types of fruit trees, while the other types were distributed among other administrative units, and the research included the most important natural factor, the climate, and two human factors, namely the number of farmers and the area of orchards in the study area.

The study is concerned with the necessity of paying attention and working to advance development in the cultivation of fruit trees of importance in the study area.
