City studies are important historical and geographical studies, given the important and valuable information they provide about life in those cities in their political, scientific and social aspects.

For this reason, one of these cities was chosen, the city of Sabat, because it was contemporary with the civilization of two states, the Sassanid and Islamic states, as it formed a link between them.

And this left an important political impact on the city, as it was embodied in several events before and after Islam, and a clear scientific impact, as it witnessed a scientific movement during the era of the Islamic state, as was the case in other Islamic cities, as a number of Muslim scholars emerged in it who left scientific traces of novels and writings.
