The research problem was embodied through the friction and coexistence of the advanced shooting players, where we see most of the shooting players in the shooting range do not enjoy great self-control to face the influences and obstacles they face during the competitions, which leads to a decrease in the level of achievement of each player and this has an impact on the results in the competitions, so self-control has a major role in the stability and high level of players.

the aim of the research is to identify the link between self-control and achievement, and through this research, we can know how effective self-control is.

as the researchers used the descriptive approach in order to suit the nature of the problem of the society (research) and the throwing scale and test were applied in the research on a sample of (16) advanced players.
