Abstract EN

The researcher conducted the current study entitled (studying the reality of development management to improve job performance in the sports activity departments of the directorates of education in Baghdad), which targeted the community of technical and administrative supervisors in the sports activity department in the Baghdad education directorates.

which consisted of (120) working in this section, the sample was divided into two parts, the exploratory sample and the main sample, for whom the questionnaire used for the study was applied, and through field research procedures and after the study sample answered the aforementioned questionnaire, the results and conclusions were reached, including the following: the current study community, represented by workers in the sports activity departments of the Baghdad education directorates, agreed that 1- the development departments play the planned role, which is achieved in cooperation with other departments in the directorate.

2- the development management has a clear and significant impact on the performance of employees.

3- the results showed that there are great challenges facing the development department in implementing its plans and objectives.

in light of these results, they recommended the following: 1- the development department must provide scientific materials and cases related to administrative development at the hands of the employees to view and increase their information about them.

2- the senior management in the directorates must be made aware of the importance of the participation of all their employees at the neck in making the change, which helps in gaining their trust and support for them.
