Historical documents occupy an important and distinct space on which researchers and historians rely and who is involved in the field of historical documentation and writing, especially those who specialize in modern and contemporary Lebanese history being familiar with the most relevant documents and the importance of specific time periods, as well as the fact that documents of all kinds are among the most important sources of knowledge.

Evidence for proving or denying the historical event, and it plays a prominent role with the aim of linking the past with the future.

Therefore, modern and contemporary Lebanese history is rich in the availability of unpublished and even published documents that presented its historical events in a serial and in-depth manner.
