The Search discusses the position of the State of Qatar towards the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, after its victory in the legislative elections that were held in the year 2006, the victory of the Hamas movement in it, and the formation of the government that Qatar welcomed and supported after Hamas was subjected to an Israeli blockade and local, regional and international pressures.

Qatar stood by Hamas in its endeavor to stabilize its elected government, and after Hamas took control of the Gaza Strip in 2007, Qatar implicitly recognized what was happening in the Strip and its support for Hamas did not cease, and it tried to reconcile it with Fatah and welcomed Arab efforts aimed at that, and provided financial and political support For the Palestinian people and the Gaza Strip, which is administered by the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas.

The research was divided into an introduction and three topics.

The first topic dealt with the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, its emergence and founding, while the second topic dealt with Qatar's stance towards Hamas, 1987-2006: As for the third topic, it dealt with Qatar's stance towards the Palestinian elections and national reconciliation between Hamas and Fatah.
