The study aims to investigate the indirect impacts of abusive supervisory behaviors on job burnout levels in Yemeni hospitals in Ibb city, using employee silence as a mediating variable.

The study's sample consists of 305 employees who were provided surveys to fill out in order to gather the required data.

To evaluate the study's hypotheses, the researchers used structural equations models as well as the Path Analysis approach.

The findings show that abusive actions have a positive impact on increasing job burnout in hospitals.

They also showed that employees' silence is exacerbated by abusive behavior.

Additionally, the outcomes indicated that employee silence behaviors mediate the relationship between abusive supervisory behaviors and the level of job burnout in hospitals studied.

Finally, the study provided practical recommendations for eliminating or reducing abusive supervisory behaviors, preventing or reducing employee silence behaviors, increasing employee's voice behaviors, and reducing job burnout in hospitals studied.
