Abstract EN

At the beginning of this article, we presented a concept of aging.

We also presented a card for the most important demographic features of Algeria.

It was necessary to review the most important theories explaining aging to understand its problems.

We gave a theoretical explanation from a biological, social and psychological point of view.

Then we began to review the most important social problems that aging suffers from, starting with the problems of social relations; Then we talked about the problem of social protection; At another point, we discussed the most important problem that the elderly suffer from, which is domestic violence, and in the last element we tried to trace the impact of social change on aging, we hope that this article will contribute to shedding light on an important issue in our society.
