This research is an original doctrinal study on the issue of citizens) exonement of the consumer debt and public debt owed to the state, which started to study the legitimacy of the discharge of debts in general and urged the Islamic Sharia to do so, then to explain the judgment of citizens) exonement of debts from the public treasury.
