Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the degree to which science teachers in the intermediate stage employ lab experiment simulation software and their attitudes towards it.

the sample of the study was (198) teachers, and the study showed the following results : (1) the degree of middle school science teachers’ employment of lab experiment simulation software in teaching was high ; (2) the difficulties that teachers face when employing lab experiment simulation software in teaching science came to a high degree ; (3) attitudes of science teachers in the middle school towards the use of laboratory simulation software in teaching science in the city of Makkah al-Mukarramah came to a very high degree.

the results also indicated there are no statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) in the average responses of the study sample members about the degree of science teachers’ employment in the intermediate stage of lab experiment simulation software in teaching due to (educational level, years of experience, training courses in the field of technology).

in light of the foregoing, the study made several recommendations, the most important of which were : working to provide a strong internet network in the school, reducing the administrative (non-teaching) burdens placed on the teacher.

the study suggested several proposals, the most important of which are : conducting more similar studies in other professional environments, regions and societies.
