This research aims to collect the references and comments of Imam Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani on the hadiths of Sahih al-Bukhari, with regard to the Khariji sect, and deduce from them a response to the thought of the Kharijites, or to push what some people think about agreeing with the doctrine of the Kharijites, and the importance of the research lies in addressing an old and modern problem, which is The problem of intellectual extremism, which takes the Book of God Almighty and the Sunnah of His Prophet PBUH as a support and evidence through corrupt interpretation, The research in this study is informed by the inductive method, which traces the particles to reach general rules.

Undoubtedly, the description of this group and others by the nation’s great scholars is more accurate and more informative, through introducing them, explaining the reasons for their appearance, the approach of Imam Ibn Hajar in dealing with them, his position on their narrators, the Prophet’s interest in warning of their exodus, warning against them, the call to fight them, and the concern of the Companions By conveying the news about them, and the approach of the Sunnis in dealing in a time of temptation, such as stopping talking about disputes between the Companions, fighting thought with thought, and returning to the considered principles from the Book of God Almighty and the Sunnah of His Prophet, peace be upon him, then explaining the intellectual features of the Kharijites, such as strictness in religion, Atonement for guilt, and attachment to the phenomena of texts, The denial of the Prophetic Sunnah, the denial of the authority of consensus, then the statement of behavioral features, such as acts of fame, obligating people to what God did not oblige them to do, daring against the Companions , lack of modesty, dropping the prestige of scholars and those in authority, not being influenced by the morals of religion, and the removal of scholars, then creed violations Such as denial of the basin, denial of the Antichrist, denial of seeing God Almighty, saying that the Qur’an is created, and denial of intercession, as well as some of their violations of jurisprudence rulings, such as cutting off the hand of a thief in what little and a lot they have, and the permissibility of combining a woman with her paternal aunt and uncle, then some traces of the Khawarij thought in the old And the hadith, and finally to refer to the opinion of scholars on the Kharijites.
