Abstract EN

The study aimed to determine the effectiveness of presidential initiatives in improving the level of services (health, education, economic empowerment, implementation of infrastructure projects), identifying obstacles, and making proposals for activating presidential initiatives in improving the quality of life for rural families most in need.

to achieve the objectives of the study, it relied on a measurement form as a main tool, consisting of (32) phrases in addition to the primary data, distributed as follows : primary data (7) questions, health services (8) phrases, educational services (8) phrases, economic empowerment (8) phrases implementation of infrastructure projects (8) phrases, in addition to an interview guide that included obstacles (8) phrases, proposals (8) phrases.

the validity and reliability of the tool was verified and it was field-applied to a sample of 102 individuals in the local unit in the village of Minyat al-Hayt and its dependencies, and 28 projects have already been implemented, and the study reached several results, the most important of which are : the effectiveness of presidential initiatives in improving the level of health services through : obtaining free medicines, conducting examinations, medical convoys and raising awareness, their effectiveness in improving the level of educational services through : activating literacy classes, awareness seminars, providing land for schools, and their effectiveness in achieving economic empowerment from during : the marriage of orphans, project loans, aid, their effectiveness in implementing infrastructure projects through: paving roads and operating lighting and sewage poles.

as for the most important obstacles, they were poor coordination and poor awareness of citizens.

as for the aspects of activation, they were : strengthening the culture of initiatives, holding periodic meetings with development partners, activating community participation.
