Abstract EN

This research is attempting to identify the reading presented by the Orientalists (Patricia Crone and Michael Cook) in their polemical book (Hagarism : The Making of the Islamic World), about the early stage of Islam and its theory al-Hajariyya, which organized the ideas of the book, As a different reading in terms of its kind, in terms of the authors intellectual and cultural affiliation, as well as the quality of the sources which employed in completing this reading and the conclusions and sayings which they reached.

The stage of the life of Islam, whether in the Islamic historical and cultural space or the previous orientalist discourses.

And then to determine the objective and historical extent of what they presented, the level of belonging of the Hagarism theory to reality, and its consistency with the rules and methods of scientific research.
