Abstract EN

This paper provides a critical reading of the concept of settler colonialism in Palestine.

It engages with the most prominent theorists, Patrick Wolfe and Lorenzo Veracini, taking into consideration the differences between their analyses of the colonial context of the Palestinian territories colonized in 1967.

The paper investigates the distinction between using settler colonialism as a concept or as a paradigm, concluding that settler colonialism in Palestine should be regarded as a concept and used analytically alongside other concepts such as exploitation colonialism and internalized colonialism.
