The books of travelers are considered the main resources to investigate the conditions of the Islamic community.
the Persian traveler, Nasir Khusraw made his journey in the middle of the fifth A.H / the eleventh B.C to most of the Arab Mashreq and Egypt.
with great accuracy, he described most of the cities he visited in terms of their architecture, walls, sacred scenes, economic and social conditions, population beliefs, and conditions of the tribes.
Thus, this study handles all these aspects through Nasir Khusraw's "Safarnamah".
