This research studies the identity in the novel Kharat al-Qatad، by its Iraqi writer Ahmed Salem Khashan.

It was granted several awards، because of its artistic and creative energy.

It was issued by the Arab Houseof Science Publishers.

The study searched for the loss of identity for its characters، and the level of its formation in the novel according to three levels and types، the most important of which are the detached، closed and non-identical identity.
