Al-Khatib Al-Baghdadi is one of the important personalities who spoke about the history of Baghdad and the contributions of scholars to it, especially the people of Hejaz.

Al-Khatib Al-Baghdadi began his scientific life by memorizing the Holy Qur’an and then began to learn jurisprudence with a group of senior Shafi’is, as the importance of Baghdad’s geographical location lies in the availability of water and the decrease in the dangers of floods.

which in turn led to the expansion of the area of the city and the increase of its influence and the arrival of delegations from all cities, especially the Hijaz, and they excelled in scientific and human sciences and compiled many books in these two areas.
