Abstract EN

In my research, I dealt with an important period in the history of Iraq.

it was characterized by the political events and developments that led to the formation of the Iraqi kingdom.

the formation of the kingdom was accompanied by many events, revolutions and uprisings that rejected British colonialism in Iraq.

it showed the most prominent treaties concluded between Iraq and Britain.

the research is divided into three complications.

the first topic dealt with several axes, firstly, the British policy after the end of the first world war and the mandate for Iraq, secondly the twentieth revolution, the premises of the twentieth revolution and the causes of the twentieth revolution, and thirdly, the decision to carry out the armed revolution, the fields of the revolution and its results, and fourthly the interim government characteristics of the interim government and the second topic the second topic consists of two axes: first, the establishment of the monarchy in Iraq and the Cairo conference, secondly, the coronation of king Faisal and the beginning of the rule, and the third topic, which dealt with the Iraqi-British treaties during the period (1920-1932).

the research relied on several sources, the most important of which are Iraq, a study of its political development by Philip, Ireland, and modern Iraq by Stephen Hemsley-Loncrik, and the Great Iraqi Revolution by Abdul Razzaq Al-Hasani.
