Abstract EN

The research comes in line with the great interest that the university of Sharjah attaches to scientific development programs that adopt the principle of continuous development in various aspects of knowledge.

therefore, this research was carried out based on the recommendation of the council of the mass communication department at the college of communication of university of Sharjah.

it is based on a number of indicators and scientific observations provided by the professors supervising the field training courses with regard to students who are about to complete graduation requirements.

the importance of the current study comes in that it is the first, academically, in the unit-ed Arab emirates and the Arab gulf.

the researcher relied on several tools in collecting data, including: questionnaire, observation, interviews, literature review and previous Arab and international studies, regardless of the scarcity of international studies.

the research discusses the problems of training students in media colleges in the united Arab emirates, the technological and technical capabilities available in the presence of advanced equipment and devices, studios and laboratories for synthesis and visual and sound effects.

additionally, it discusses the training opportunities available inside and outside the college corridors, which aim to enable the student to apply the academic foundations and studies in the field of television production of all kinds.

the researcher also tries to study and review the plans and visions pursued by media colleges in field training for radio and television specialization and their alignment with the skill requirements.

that of which the student utilizes to obtain job opportunities in media institutions (the media labor market).

all in the light of the challenges of technical development taking place information and communication technology and its uses.

the researcher worked on designing a questionnaire that includes two types of ques-tions.

the first is directed to students who have completed the training hours within the requirements of the field training course in media institutions.

the second is directed to students who are still continuing their theoretical and practical studies in the college of media and communication in the field of radio and TV.

among the most important find-ings of the research is that most of the male respondents have completed the training course by 75%, while the female respondents completed 64.3%.

therefore, it was found that there were no statistically significant differences between males and females in terms of their choice of the institution in which they completed the field training course, where the value of the mann-whitney test was 3582,000 and the morale value was 0.107, which is greater than 0.05.
