Abstract EN

The current research aims to identify the relationship between (positive thinking skills-and academic achievement) and to reveal the significance of the differences in these two variables according to gender and years of service.

the standard characteristics of the positive thinking skills scale.

the validity was calculated using the apparent honesty method by presenting the scale to a number of arbitrators with psychological and educational specializations.

the items of the scale were approved.

the sample of the study amounted to (40) male and female teachers, with (20) male and (15) female teachers.

the districts of Babylon, who were chosen by the random stratified method with a proportional distribution.

the number of the research community reached (400) male and female students and after applying the two tools of research and data analysis statistically using SPSS statistical package for social sciences, the results were as follows : -teachers’ possession of positive thinking skills.

-there is a positive correlation between positive thinking skills and academic achievement.

-there are no statistically significant differences in positive thinking skills and academic achievement according to the gender variable.
