The article aims to tackle the turbulent and tense relationship between USA and China as two global powers which have weight and influence on the international system.

Moreover, it focuses on the intensification of this tension during the period of Corona pandemic which makes many scholars compare this clash to a new cold war and to what extent it will shape a change in the world order in relation to the concepts of the theory of realism in interpreting international relationships.
