Abstract EN

This paper deals with the approach and importance of the revelation causes in al-Shaykh Omar al-Suhrawardi’s book "Awarif al-Maarif" for enlightening the approach and method of al-Suhrawardi’s inference in showing the revelation meanings and legislative rules.

through this study, it has indicated that the sciences of Quran, including the reasons of revelation have not been confined in the books of interpretation and ayahs of rules, but they also have relation to the islamic cynicism books that are considered as a method in the education and that rarely exceeds the modern education bases either in the east or in the west.

thus, by this approach, i would like to get back to the most famous books of cynicism, most importantly "Arbab al-Suluk" after the book "al-Ihya’" by al-Ghazali as to study one side of the sciences this book contained, including the reasons of revelation which are hugely referenced by al-Suhrawardi in his book "Awarif al-Maarif", in which hugely he mentioned reverent revelations by which he proved of what he wanted to deliver of Ayahs of rules and politeness and Muslim behavior to those who led cynicism.
