Abstract EN

This article is concerned with one of the figures of the Arab-Islamic heritage, whose opinion is highly valued and knowledge resorted to when it comes to deal with issues of morphology, derivation, inflection, and of etymology of words in the Arabic language.

It is a research which contains the essential or even all of Ibn Jinnî’s opinions on "poetic license" whichis considered to be one of the most important, the vastest and finest linguistic questions, given that it remains a characteristic of Arabic poetry which is the collection by the Arabs themselves, the source of the language and the place of testimony.
